I have heard that certain cultures feed on canine meat. Usually this information comes from word of mouth. First from my sapiens hearing it around, and then it reaches my ears. My initial reaction was definitely disgust when I first heard about it. How could sapiens want to eat something like me? Aren't we considered sapien's best friend? Even though that saying seems to be of American origin, we take it for granted that it should also be a view shared around the world. However, it seems other cultures might not agree.

PSA: How to use Social Media for Local Shelters

With social media, sapiens are connected instantaneously. This is incredible for being able to share information quickly and broadly. However, there can be times where having a social media account can get lost in the flurry of all other social chatter.

With all my Eskimo fluff, it's really hard to know that I even have a collar on, let alone a dog tag! You can see my previous photos and note that my neck looked completely naked there. After my birthday dinner this weekend, my sapiens surprised me with this nice little dessert! I had just received a package from Ma Snax Superior Dog Treats and was secretly hoping that I would get to try it soon. Indeed I did ...for I was a "Good Dog" that day!

Black & White Sunday: Barkin' Birthday Bonanza at the Beach (B.W.S.B.B.B.B.)!

Plenty of action yesterday at Carmel By The Sea, California (that's the real name of the city!). I was pooped after running in and out of the tide. There were not many other canines or sapiens in the water yesterday, but it was still a very fun and exciting birthday get-together!

Butters the Frenchie also attended my birthday party, but he was too afraid to run into the water with me. I also met a mini-me named Hunter and saw a puppy Japanese Spitz! Unfortunately, we did not get to meet.

My sapiens got me a home-made candle for my birthday! It smells tasty!

Unfortunately, it isn't edible...well. I think I would eat it if nobody was looking, but don't tell my sapiens!

Last week, I ran across a story about a huge backlash for an advertisement by Pearl Izumi and thought this topic is suitable for Friday the 13th. On my walks, I have seen Pearl Izumi gear on trail-runners and cyclists. But, I have never encountered a situation like the one depicted below!

This intense and exciting New York Fashion Week (NYFW) event started on September 5th and ends on September 12. From there it travels across the pond to London, Milan and finally makes its last stop in Paris.

Bosco held the position of mayor for ten years in the village of Sunol, California (a little northeast of Fremont) until his passing in 1994.
