Should I be shaved? Should you?
Summer is quickly approaching its end, and Fall is just around the corner. How have my fellow canines been coping with the heat? I recently met an Eskie like myself named Thor. It was a warm afternoon, and Thor's sapien was taking him to the groomer for a nice shave. I overheard my sapiens talking with his, and discovered that Thor's coat was never quite the same after a couple of shaves. Thor doesn't do well in the warm weather, and pants profusely. While I am still a young pup, I wonder if I may end up needing a close cut in the future.

Quack Quack "Wise Treats for Dogs"?
Review of August BarkBox 2013: Item 3 of 5
Ruckus Report: Plato Natural Duck Strips
Quack quack! Oh, do I love chasing down birds and ducks. Not only are they fun to chase around the park and pond, but they are also delicious! I do have a confession. Sometimes I love them so much that I like to lick their waste product too! *ashamed*

Pizzle means WHAT now?!
Review of August BarkBox 2013: Item 2 of 5
Ruckus Report: Barkworthies Bully Flakes Food Topper
PROS:
Barkworthies Bully Flakes Food Topper are basically your typical bully sticks shredded for your own convenience. I have actually never had Bully Sticks before so I never knew what the ingredients contained! This treat is actually very convenient since my sapiens like to feed me and rush off to work. So, they want to make sure that I can eat my morning meal. Sometimes my taste buds needs a little jump-kick on the appetite so it ends up being a fast way to stimulate it. The Bully Flakes here are grass-fed, free-range pizzle from FDA-approved Brazilian cattle. This topper is all natural and 100% digestible with no extra additive, chemicals, or preservatives---all of which sounds amazing to me!

PSA: Sapiens, please watch us while we are socializing with other dogs
A few days ago, my dear friend Miss Ivy was attacked by a menacing dog in Ohio. It happened at Bow Wow Beach, and I worry it can happen to any of us. Please visit Miss Ivy's sapien, Tom Fargo, to show your love and support to his poor puppy who is still recovering from her injuries.

Gimme Liver! A High Reward Treat
Review of August BarkBox 2013: Item 1 of 5
Ruckus Report: Primal Pets Freeze Dried Liver Munchies
Yum! Look what I discovered not-so-well-hidden with my dinner meal tonight! I knew my sapiens were being a little sneaky in the kitchen today. I had an eventful day at the dog park today so it was time to nourish myself with some crude proteins.
I can really smell the delicious turkey liver through this bag! |

Pig Roasting Party
Yes please!!!!! My sapiens recently attended a pig roasting party and came home with a special "doggy bag" for me! There were a lot of hot coals and ash at the event, so I stayed home to avoid injuring myself. That didn't stop me from having my own little pig-time!
No pigs were harmed in the taking of this photo |

School is Back in Session!
Sapiens experience the Back-to-School Blues but please don't forget that us Dogs do, too! There is much talk about the transition in the sapien realm about the stressors and excitement about the "First Day of School". However, I don't think the sapiens really realize how this would affect their pets.
I only go back to school for recess! |

What other species can be my Doppelgänger?
Quite a stir has been brought up by the recent news about a Tibetan mastiff disguised as a mountain lion in People's Park of Luohe in Henan, China. No, for all you Bay Area inhabitants, this is not the same as the homeless People's Park in Berkeley, CA.
