What to Name your Dog? Top Dog Names

Some of us when we first bring home our companion(s) already have names picked out for your dog. Others dogs will already come with names say through adoption or change of ownership. When you have the opportunity to name your dog/puppy aka new best friend ...what should it be?
Here's a list that may be helpful to you--whether you are planning for a popular "pupular" dog name or if you want to avoid calling out "FIDO" and having 10 dogs at the park run towards you:

I'm looking at the list below and I definitely do not see the name "RUCKUS" listed anywhere.
Here's a background story to how RUCKUS received his name. His breeder mentioned to us that when this American Eskimo was born and raised under their care, they watched his behavior and noted that he was actually quite mild-natured. The name RUCKUS was written on his paperwork by accident as it was supposed to be "ROMPERS" due to his bunny like nature as he hops around as a pup.
Now, I tried calling out Rompers but it didn't seem to work so Ruckus it is.

How to Grow your Instagram to 60k Followers

Hi friends! Many people inquire how we are able to gain so much traction on Instagram over at @ruckustheeskie. As of now, we have over 55k followers after starting the account a few years ago.

We started Ruckus the Eskie initially because we wanted to share our adorable cutie pie with the world. We realized that we were spamming family members and friends via email and on our personal social media accounts. The next step was to just create a separate account. We left this account public and noticed that the world wide web also expressed interest in this fluff ball! We have to admit, Ruckus is too cute to just keep to ourselves.

Here are a five quick tips on how to grow your Instagram account:

1) Find a niche

  • Discover what your passion is.
    • What do you love to share?
    • What do you love to talk about?

2) High Quality Photos

  • A good quality camera is helpful, but not necessary.
    • We previously used the Canon 60D, however noticed that it was bulky for everyday use.
  • Camera phones now produce good quality photos as well. Convenient! Our current photos are directly straight off my iPhone 6s.

3) Engagement

  • This is something that I see many accounts fail to do.  We read every comment and try our best to engage as much with our followers and fans as much as possible. Talking with other instagrammers and bloggers in your niche also helps with collaboration and networking in the field.
4) Post consistently

  • Activity and consistency are key on Instagram. Followers and fans will follow an active feed. We try to post daily but we know that for many, this may not be feasible. I mean, some of us have jobs right? We sure do!
5) Flexibility

  • We notice that some accounts have strict rules and guidelines on what they will or will not post. Keep in mind that this is completely up to you and the freedom belongs to you. Over at Ruckus the Eskie, we always remember that whatever we share, it is organic and true to us. Our main goal is to provide a glimpse into the lives of Ruckus and family.
We hope this helps provide some insight on how to grow and develop your Instagram. These are tips from our personal experiences.
