Happy Egg Hunting! |
UPDATE: Rafflecopter now available!
Happy Easter Weekend! Here's a little Easter theme bonus!
Our friends over at DoggyLoot reached out to us to host a couple of fun giveaways for my devoted followers! We will be giving away THREE (3) $100 USD Gift Certificates to doggyloot.com.
Check out the loot here: DoggyLoot
There will be over a series of three posts of the items I chose off of their website.
DoggyLoot listed price: $9.10 (Retailed $19)
PROS:
- Slows down consumption rate
- This is good for me since I tend to gobble up my food within seconds!
- Encourages stimulation and exercise
- Keeps me entertained and out of my sapien's hair when they are busy
- Easy to wash
- Just a quick simple rinse is all you need!
- Easy to use:
- Fill with treats or kibble by unscrewing
- Soft cushion
- Limit damages to the house as the treat ball goes flinging in the air!
CONS:
- Not for all sizes:
- Difficult to use for large kibbles or treats. They offer the option to trim the opening however that will leave the hole permanently enlarged, allowing the smaller treats to spill out too easily
- Frustrating:
- I sometimes give up when the item inside is not a high reward treat
- Noisy:
- Of course, I don't care about the noise but my sapiens sometimes say that I am causing too much chaos with the treat ball around the house
Watch this video of me enjoying a light snack with my brand new treat ball.
DoggyLoot listed price: $9.99 (Retail $16)
PROS:
- Convenient:
- Collapsible bowl for on the go, makes it very nice to use on hikes, road trips, or even when visiting family members
- Waterproof:
- Although it holds 48 ounces of food, it also serves as a water bowl
- Machine washable:
- Not sure why I would ever throw this in the wash, but nice to know I have that option!
- Wrinkled:
- This bowl opens up more crinkled than I am use to for the portable fold down water bowls. It's no big deal since the stripes hides the fact that it's not as aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
- Oddly shaped:
- I'm not sure why this folds into a triangular shape. It makes it a bit harder to store than the typical wallet fold down bowls I'm use to.
**All links are to items on amazon.com since Doggyloot updates their supplies often. Once the items are out of stock, the listing is removed.
Overall, DoggyLoot provides a variety of items (more details later), but I decided to first focus on what I thought were my bare necessities that was lacking from my cabinet. I recently destroyed this IQ Treatball so I was ecstatic to have this new eggshape treat dispenser. Plus, my sapiens absent-mindedly left my old portable water bowl while taking photos of me here.
This is definitely a nice convenient way to find replacements for my lost and destroyed items without leaving the house! Items are delivered to your mailbox promptly with free shipping.
