Have fun!

I was contacted by my dear friends at Zuke's to taste test their Z-Bones dental chews.

The good news is that together Zuke's and I both "Fuel the Love"!  We want to provide one lucky Ruckus fan a set of Z-Bones to try!

Current Listed Price: $18.99 per bag
  • The products shown here are for dogs 60-90 lbs.  (Dogs twice as heavy as me!)
  • Each package carries 6 large bones.
  • Zuke's offers a variety of sizes from small to large
You can see me here trying to protect these 3 bags of goodies! Mine! All mine!
Z-BONES:
PROS:
  • Natural dental chews
    • highly digestible potato & pea formula
    • grainy texture to help polish and scrape teeth
  • Skip a brushing
    • Good for when the sapiens are too lazy to brush
  • Win-win situation:
    • Sapiens are happy because I will have a fresh mouth [as if my mouth isn't fresh enough ;)]
    • I am happy because I get a reward and treat for no good reason!
  • Freshens breath
    • 3 different irresistible flavors with antioxidants
    • contains alfalfa, parsley, rosemary, and fennel
Love that they show the actual size on the outside packaging
CONS:
  • Difficult to break
    • Needs a score to assist with sharing of dental chews between dogs
    • My American Eskimo weight does not fall into the range for these treats, so being able to halve it would be a plus!
  • Costs more than other dental chews
    • These Z-Bones are sold individually wrapped for $3.99 each. This runs higher than the other typical dental chews out in the market. The plus side is that you actually save $4.95 by purchasing in bulk. (Trust me, I did the math!)
Approximately 5 inches long!
Overall, Zuke's Z-Bones are high-quality dental chews. They may be more expensive than the typical dental chews, but really, who doesn't favor quality over quantity?  Enter below for your chance to win all 3 bags!

Happy Sepia Saturday!

  11. hmmm big bone foe a little dog ....looking perfect in the sepia Saturday. We haven't tried the zukes bones yet. Mom says they seem awfully expensive for just one little bone - they cost $2.99 for the small size here ..but Mom thinks the pet store is just charging to much

  21. We need something like that here after Beryl's dental last week. Although knowing here she'd want them minced up, lol! She doesn't like chewing her food :)

  22. Huge Zuke's fans here- I think the only ones we haven't tried are the links, as Shiloh doesn't do well with Apple and all varieties are apple flavored. Hard to choose, but I think our favorites are the Z-Fillets and Jerky, though we use the Minis the most.
