Have fun!
I was contacted by my dear friends at Zuke's to taste test their Z-Bones dental chews.
The good news is that together Zuke's and I both "Fuel the Love"! We want to provide one lucky Ruckus fan a set of Z-Bones to try!
Current Listed Price: $18.99 per bag
- The products shown here are for dogs 60-90 lbs. (Dogs twice as heavy as me!)
- Each package carries 6 large bones.
- Zuke's offers a variety of sizes from small to large
You can see me here trying to protect these 3 bags of goodies! Mine! All mine! |
Z-BONES:
PROS: - Natural dental chews
- highly digestible potato & pea formula
- grainy texture to help polish and scrape teeth
- Skip a brushing
- Good for when the sapiens are too lazy to brush
- Win-win situation:
- Sapiens are happy because I will have a fresh mouth [as if my mouth isn't fresh enough ;)]
- I am happy because I get a reward and treat for no good reason!
- Freshens breath
- 3 different irresistible flavors with antioxidants
- contains alfalfa, parsley, rosemary, and fennel
Love that they show the actual size on the outside packaging |
- Difficult to break
- Needs a score to assist with sharing of dental chews between dogs
- My American Eskimo weight does not fall into the range for these treats, so being able to halve it would be a plus!
- Costs more than other dental chews
- These Z-Bones are sold individually wrapped for $3.99 each. This runs higher than the other typical dental chews out in the market. The plus side is that you actually save $4.95 by purchasing in bulk. (Trust me, I did the math!)
Approximately 5 inches long! |
Overall, Zuke's Z-Bones are high-quality dental chews. They may be more expensive than the typical dental chews, but really, who doesn't favor quality over quantity? Enter below for your chance to win all 3 bags!
Happy Sepia Saturday!
Woof,
Ruckus the Eskie

Zukes make such awesome treats!
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteAnd to think the vet took away ALL my treats and EVERYTHING! I'll get my Human to ask if I could have a potato and pea formula.
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Never heard of them but love to the other zuke products. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeletehmmm big bone foe a little dog ....looking perfect in the sepia Saturday. We haven't tried the zukes bones yet. Mom says they seem awfully expensive for just one little bone - they cost $2.99 for the small size here ..but Mom thinks the pet store is just charging to much
ReplyDeleteIts a perfect picture in Sepia and that bone looks delicious! Love Dolly
ReplyDeleteWe have tried Zukes Skinny Bakes and Zukes Mini Natural. Schooner and Skipper LOVE ZUKES
ReplyDeleteWe have tried the Skinny Bakes & Mini Naturals. Schooner and Skipper LOVE ZUKES!
ReplyDeleteWe just recently tried Zuke's Jerky naturals for dogs. They were yummy.
ReplyDeleteWe like the Zuke's mini naturals....great for training treats!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried any Zuke's products yet, but I did see them once at Whole Foods!
ReplyDeleteLove that picture with the bone in your mouth! You are too cute!
ReplyDeleteWe love Zuke's, they are yummy!
ReplyDeleteLooks like he likes those zbones. Such a cute pic of him! Thanks for sharing on the Pet Parade!
ReplyDeleteAwesome picture Ruckus! Great giveaway too! We have never tried them!
ReplyDeleteWe need something like that here after Beryl's dental last week. Although knowing here she'd want them minced up, lol! She doesn't like chewing her food :)
ReplyDeleteHuge Zuke's fans here- I think the only ones we haven't tried are the links, as Shiloh doesn't do well with Apple and all varieties are apple flavored. Hard to choose, but I think our favorites are the Z-Fillets and Jerky, though we use the Minis the most.
ReplyDeleteI have not tried any Zukes products yet, but I am interested in several of them, especially the jerky.
ReplyDeleteRascal has never tried any Zuke products. Rascal also has never found anything that he doesn't like. Whether it is is food, clothes, shoes, stuffed animals, he is not very picky.
ReplyDeleteSorcha has not tried Zuke's but she would love to! They all look like things she would love and they are all natural. I also see that they have items for kitties that I am sure her sisters and brother would love also.
ReplyDeleteWe've tried Zuke's Wild Rabbit Treats and we went crazy for them :)
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE Zuke's in my house of sensitive dog stomachs!
ReplyDeleteZuke's is one of the brands that has treats that are safe for me to eat! They even helped my Momma find which treats contain no poultry or beef so that she didn't have to worry about me having a break out.
ReplyDeleteTyson loves Zuke's Mini dog treats!
ReplyDeleteMy dogs have tried the Skinny Bakes and the Z-Filets. The Grilled Chicken Z-Filets are their favorite.
ReplyDeleteMy dogs have tried and love the power bones. I bring these with me when we are hiking and the dogs are in lure coursing events.
ReplyDeleteI'll be honest, we haven't tried Zuke's yet but have been wanting to. I know my dogs would really love these.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't tried any of their bones yet but I know Layla (and Roxi when she comes to visit) would love to check them out - LOL
ReplyDeleteMy dog, Radley, likes the Jerky Naturals in Tender Lamb! Yummy!
ReplyDeleteThese chews would be fabulous for our pups. ESPECIALLY since they're a little on the tough side! Thanks so much for sharing!
