They all have a warm bed. Buddy has his own quilt to sleep under at night.
ReplyDeleteThey cuddle up near the heater and have a large bed in living room
ReplyDeleteLucy has a lot of blankets, which are really towels that she steals out of the laundry when I'm folding. I think she has 4 right now? We bought her a nice fleece blanket for her bed, but it's the towels that she carries around! The blanket is folded nicely next to her bed and hasn't been touched. :P
ReplyDeleteNever heard of broth for dogs. What a nice way to give them a warm meal!
ReplyDeleteRuckus is ready! Winter is coming.
ReplyDeleteWe stay cuddled up in our blankets the best we can...preferably in front of the fireplace!! xo Chloe and LadyBug
ReplyDeleteHappy TT pal!

I have a bed with a special electric heating pad for the much adored dog station by the cold window. Otherwise warm foods like these marvelous broths after a chilly walk a great innovation.

They both have sweaters and coats. The broths would certainly help!
ReplyDeleteWe give our dogs extra blankets in the winter and they love to lay in front of the portable heater when it's on. I bet they'd like these.
ReplyDeleteWe keep them indoors.
ReplyDeleteMy dogs, like Ruckus, have long hair and do a pretty good job of keeping themselves warm. But they love to play outside, and it gets pretty darn cold here in Upstate NY (we usually get several days each winter of 20 degrees or more below zero!) with lots of deep snow. So we shorten outside exposure on those days, and I make them wear boots when I think it's necessary to protect their feet. These would make a great treat for them on those cold days, though!
ReplyDeleteSnowplow, our 180 lb. St. Bernard loves the winter of course and keeping him warm in the cold has ever been a problem. We often have to feed him ice cubes and he loves to eat snow to keep him cool. He is part of the Ski Patrol and a search and rescue dog. When he rescues a skier who is stranded he usually will lay on top of them to help them stay warm while he waits for the rescue team. He does have what we have tagged his magic boots to keep his paws protected and Doggles for the sun to protect his eyes. But the winter is of course a season to be especially vigilant with our special pals so they are not injured by the inclement weather. Rene Chartier (medicus0911)
