My Sapiens and I #RecipeForMoments

Today I am posting about a special event put on by Nature’s Recipe® chronicling special moments between sapiens and their pets. Perfect for sharing the love on this wonderful day of Valentine's.

I am thankful for my sapiens just as much as they are thankful for being able to have such a great canine as myself! We are all spoiled immensely with the love we have for each other.

This moment below was shared with my sapien mom. We were gazing out at Los Gatos, CA for many minutes, enjoying the many fowls that were paddling across the serene pond. I was pretty calm for this shot, as I spent most of the day running around at the dog park with many new friends, big and small. This was a nice moment of relaxation for both my sapien and me.

At Huntington Beach, CA, my sapien dad had the pleasure of frolicking in the water with me. Luckily the water was warm enough for him, but maybe a little too warm for me! I am used to the cold northern Pacific Ocean waters of Carmel, CA and San Francisco CA. That didn't stop me of having tons of fun and getting super messy.

And finally, more recently, our arduous trip to get to Yosemite, CA. Remember the normally 3-hour trip that turned into a 15-hour trip? As in last week's Sepia Saturday post, it was way worth it for shots like this one below. This paved trail to Lower Yosemite Falls is extremely short--about a half mile. But, for views like this, it can't be beat! For all you canine lovers who want to bring your pup to Yosemite, this is one of the places you should definitely visit. I was very ecstatic that my sapiens brought me here. Can you tell from my Eskie Smile?

These past few road trips with my sapiens were indeed Recipes for Moments. All it takes is a little love, endurance, and a positive attitude to overcome any issues that come your way. Whether it be icy roads, shredded popped tires, or just a really long time sitting in the back of a vehicle, the memories we shared along the way were always worth it.

Our story is a part of the #RecipeForMoments blog hop hosted by BlogPaws. Link up below to share your story of the bond you and your pet share. Woof,

  7. Happy Valentine's Day! I don't think I knew you were in Carmel/SF area, we're practically neighbors! We were contemplating taking HufflePup to Yosemite later this year, actually, we'd love any recommendations you might be able to give for dogfriendly lodgings & things to do.
