See-pee-ah or Seh-pee-ah? Looks like all of the votes have been tallied. Click through to find which pronunciation reigns supreme!
Today's lovely picture comes from a park in Los Gatos, CA where my sapiens like to walk around and enjoy the man-made ponds. The serene stillness of the water on a sunny day is a sight to behold and even more pronounced when blanched in sepia.
As for the vote, it was collar and collar, but See-pee-ah won by a NOSE!
Very cool sepia photo! I am still deciding which photo to choose for my Sepia Saturday! Drop by to see which I select!
ReplyDeleteComing by soon to make my fun rounds!
DeleteWhat a beautiful photo! Looks like a really nice place to walk around!! xo Chloe and LadyBug
ReplyDeleteThat is an exquisite photo. We so wish we were in California right now.
ReplyDeleteUh-oh...there are themes each Saturday too, Ruckus? I gotta get this all figured out! I love the shadows in this sepia photo...the sepia tone really makes it such a serene view. Thanks for letting me join in!
ReplyDeleteYour pal,
Oz
No theme at all Oz! The Sepia itself is more than enough! Just link up any sepia related photo. I was going to alternate with a pet and nonpet post just to mix it up. :)
DeleteHi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat bridge to nowhere. Who or what is out there swimming in the water?
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
That is a very cool photo and looks like a really warm serene place. I had my post done so didn't stick with the architecture theme unless you count the building that might be seen in some of Norman's sepia video. Have a great Saturday
ReplyDeleteThanks JoAnn! I love going through and seeing all the Sepia creativity that everyone comes up with. No theme at all. Link up with your best Sepia of the week :)
DeleteBeautiful pic!
ReplyDeleteAwesome Pic!
ReplyDeleteHiya Ruckus old buddy! I wanted to join up to your hop today, I hope you don't mind. I already have established a theme for my Saturdays, so I broke today's post into 2 parts. One for my Saturday Sibe Vibe and then I added a sepia pic and the hop to it. I love your pic, very beautiful!!!

Beautiful!!! We think See-Pee-Ahhhhhh!
ReplyDeleteI love the stillness of the lake and stark nature of the dock(?). I think the sepia really makes the starkness of the architecture striking. Great shot and treatment. I've linked mine as well. But I wanted to let you know of a challenge I'm starting tomorrow. I know there are a lot of challenges everywhere, so I've had to pick and choose, but this one is close to my heart. http://firebonnet.com/2014/01/03/random-moments-of-delight-challenge/
ReplyDeleteOh lovely photo Ruckus! And interesting poll... I'd never even heard it called see-pee-ah before. Just "seh-pee-ah"
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! Looks like a lovely walk.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! Looks like a lovely walk
ReplyDeleteThat picture is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I love that you have different colors throughout in the sepia range, it makes it extra special!
ReplyDeleteWow beautiful pic Ruckus!
ReplyDeleteDang missed it again :( Im feeling a little sick so I didn't get a chance to do Sepia Saturday :(
LOL I pronounce it Seh-pee-ah ;)
That photo is perfect in Sepia (see-pee-a here!) Ruckus. I just discovered your Sepia Saturday after I'd done my B&W Sunday, which happens to be sepia photos. Rather than confuse things by joining your blog hop I'll wait til next week. Looks like fun :)
ReplyDeleteOh great! I can't wait to see what you have ready for next week. It will be my 3rd Sepia Saturday blog hop. Thanks for joining!
DeleteSomehow I missed the poll. If I had voted, I would have gone with seh-pee-ah. Wonderful photo, by the way. :)
ReplyDeleteA different sepia - but who cares - great photo
