We are excited to be posting about the last edition of the "Healthier Pets. Happier Lives." campaign with Hill's Pet. It's been fun learning new tips from pet parents across the blogosphere!
To review how together we can make healthy and happy pets STAY healthy happy, follow these 3 steps below:
1) Annual Vet Visits
Routine visits with your pet's veterinarian is important for health maintenance and to detect conditions before they become more serious. Ruckus had his annual vet visit and is stressing the importance for you to take your pup for their regular check ups as well.
Read more about it here.
Choosing the right type of food for your pet can be confusing. We used a combination of friends' and veterinarians recommendation. Every dog is different, but luckily Ruckus wasn't a picky eater and handled the first food we picked like a champ. Consult your veterinarian if you have questions or concerns about the proper nutrition required to fit your pet's need.
To help pet parents provide their pets’ high quality nutrition, Hill’s Pet Nutrition is offering a $10 off
promotion on select Hill’s Science Diet products. Click on the image below for more details on getting this rebate:

3) Special treatments with "little extras"
The importance of your pet's mental health is as important as their physical health. Keep in mind to include the "little extras" in your pet's life by including playtime, exercise, grooming, and treats. These activities will strengthen your bond between you and your pet. Ruckus enjoys playing with his favorite toys and having daily grooming sessions with us.

To summarize, our pets rely on us for decisions that make their lives healthy and happy. To ensure that, the Hill's Healthier Pets, Happier Lives program focuses on these topics to help provide advice and resources to pet parents.
