Thoughtless Thursday #31: Date Night with @katespadeny @anntaylor

Date night

This fluffy thing feels depressed every time I am getting ready for a date and he can't tag along. #fromwhereistand

How do you make it easier for your pup to say "goodbye for now"?

  1. Give him a little extra treat, turn on some music for him, and kiss him good-night. Then, go have a great time! ☺ P.S. Don't leave your shoes out...just in case Ruckus decides that you shouldn't go. ☺ BOL!

  2. There is nothing I can say or do to make the girls feel more at ease. They simply cannot STAND to be alone. They sit on the couch and wait for us to return. I ADORE those shoes and that purse! Hope you enjoyed your date night!!

  3. She just leaves. However I am usually left with one of the family so she says that makes her fell better. Have a tremendous Thursday.

  4. I love your coordinating accessories! So far I haven't figured out how to keep Sadie from getting sad either. I just make sure she's on her window seat when I leave so that she'll have something to watch and a place to sleep until I get back.

  5. An extra treat to distract them from the fact we are leaving usually works.

  6. Hi Y'all!

When my Humans leave, I insist on payment. When I get paid (with a treat from each), and I hear "we'll be back" I take the opportunity to take an uninterrupted nap. Of course I always have one ear open in case of intruders. Never have been intruders.

    Y'all come by now,

  7. We dogs howl every time Jan closes the door and is on the wrong side of it. We kitties couldn't care less as long as she comes back in time to feed us.

  9. Awww :(
Date night sounds like fun though!
When we have to go somewhere without the pack, we usually just give a few extra treats, and maybe a couple stuffed kongs, which I think keeps them busy enough while we are away.
    Happy Thoughtless Thursday!

  10. When mom starts to get ready, she tells us to stay at home. So we know it and we go and lie on bed :-)

  11. When I am leaving the house, I give my dog Savanna a kiss on the top of her head and tell her what a good girl she is. She is usually smiling from all the attention when I leave. Love the purse and shoes combo! Hope your date went well!

  12. Ours always get a treat or two right before we go out the door. They can also watch us leave through the all glass door or from the window upstairs which seems to make them happy as well.

  13. When we leave just one dog at home for period of time the frozen Kongs appear. . If Veruca and Ava stay home together, frozen Kongs can become a problem, so it is just big biscuits as we head out.
