Ruckus is Thankful this Holiday Season for the Bountiful Food #BestofBLUE

This post is sponsored by Blue Buffalo™ and the BlogPaws® Pet Influencer Network™. I am being compensated for helping spread the word about Blue Buffalo’s extensive product offering for cats and dogs available at PetSmart®, but ruckustheeskie.com only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers. Ruckus is happy to be with so much family and extended family this holiday season. There's no better way of getting together than by sharing a meal. While scraps of brisket, turkey, and even cranberry sauce can be tasty in small morsels when handed down by his loved ones, Ruckus is always hankering for a full blown meal. Ruckus is hoping that if he eats enough of this ...that he will start looking like that tough wolf dog on that bag!

We recently took a trip to PetSmart to take a look at Blue Buffalo™ food and treats. We took a look at the BLUE Life Protection Formula® and BLUE Wilderness® to see what would be next for Ruckus to try out as his main meal. As you can see, he kind of threw everything he could find into a basket! When it came to finding him food and snacks, there's no holding back! The only thing that distracted him from the shopping experience was the excitement going on in the doggy-day care section.

We love traditions and in our family and we include Ruckus in our traditions as well. Here are three traditions that we celebrate every year.:

1) THANKSGIVING COSTUME: Ruckus comes out dressed in his awkward turkey costume, greeting family members as they enter the house.  Ironically, this turkey ends up eating turkey under the dinner table too! #scrapsforruckus Luckily for him, we understand his cues that his natural fur coat is enough to keep him warm so this turkey costume slides right off after all the guests arrive.

2) GIVING THANKS AROUND THE TABLE: We each take turn to appreciate and acknowledge the blessing in our life. Ruckus is always the number ONE on the list of our "THANKS". Who can't appreciate finding random tumbling white furballs around the house? Why not have some in the butter bowl? Just kidding, we are thankful everyday to have some eskimo kisses and to see that bright Eskie smile.

3) PUMPKIN PIE - THE LAST BITE: Whoever is left at the dinner table will sit around waiting for that last slice of homemade pumpkin pie. Whoever wins and snatches that last slice...will save that last bite for Ruckus! Lucky dog, he loves pumpkin and pumpkin loves him! This is very good for his GI health-well, maybe not with all that sugar!

After all the traditions are over, we all cuddle around the warm fireplace--on TV. You know, that fireplace video on Netflix? Not a real fireplace, it is way too hot with all the guests over for that.
