I am thankful for my sapiens just as much as they are thankful for being able to have such a great canine as myself! We are all spoiled immensely with the love we have for each other.
At Huntington Beach, CA, my sapien dad had the pleasure of frolicking in the water with me. Luckily the water was warm enough for him, but maybe a little too warm for me! I am used to the cold northern Pacific Ocean waters of Carmel, CA and San Francisco CA. That didn't stop me of having tons of fun and getting super messy.
And finally, more recently, our arduous trip to get to Yosemite, CA. Remember the normally 3-hour trip that turned into a 15-hour trip? As in last week's Sepia Saturday post, it was way worth it for shots like this one below. This paved trail to Lower Yosemite Falls is extremely short--about a half mile. But, for views like this, it can't be beat! For all you canine lovers who want to bring your pup to Yosemite, this is one of the places you should definitely visit. I was very ecstatic that my sapiens brought me here. Can you tell from my Eskie Smile?

ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day! I don't think I knew you were in Carmel/SF area, we're practically neighbors! We were contemplating taking HufflePup to Yosemite later this year, actually, we'd love any recommendations you might be able to give for dogfriendly lodgings & things to do.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect Valentine's Day post, Ruckus! I sure love going on adventures with my Ma and Daddy-dog, just like you. The times spent together, no matter where (even in the car), are precious and special. I love that photo from Yosemite. Boy, I sure wish I could go there someday.
