If you are in California, you may have seen one of these contraptions zipping about the highway. I think they are fantastic pieces of technology, although a little bit scary because of all the sapiens who might want to ruin it for the rest of us. However, I'm hopeful that we can enjoy this self-driving car in the future, so we can take Ruckus long distances without worry of being tired.

Maybe he can sit in the driver seat??

Check out this cool video we saw over the past weekend and have a Happy Sepia Saturday!

  1. Self-driving cars is so "Jetsons" to me! Of course, if it would stop the danger of texting while driving , I'm all for it! Thanks for another great Sepia Saturday!

  4. Hi Y'all!

Can you imagine! Your Human puts you in the car and programs it to drive you, say to play with cousins and you could go alone! We could sit in the drivers seat like a person! As long as they don't get the idea of sending us off to the vet that way...hmmm...

My Human says they've had driverless trucks in Europe for years. It scared people so they had to put a person in the drivers seat, but he just sits there and reads or whatever. BOL...youngsters could "text" and not worry about accidents or getting an expensive ticket! BOL!!!

    Y'all come by now,

  7. You're right in our backyard, Ruckus! Since I live a half block from the 101, only a few freeway exits from Google, I've seen a lot of self-driving cars on the road (of course, with a person in them still).

Not sure what I think about it, but honestly with some of the drivers I see on the road around here I don't see how a computer could be any worse.
