I was contacted by doggyLoot to share a Ruckus Report on their Toy of the Month (TOTM) subscription to all my dedicated followers! They are very interested in sharing a 3-month subscription so I thought it would be perfect timing for anyone who is interested in getting their pup a Christmas/Holiday present!
doggyLoot Medium Size Toys (September and October) |
Current Price: $12.49
PROS:
- Stuffing-less toy
- Great for dogs with sharp teeth
- 3 squeakers that keep squeaking after being punctured
- Ideal for dogs who lose interest in their toys after the squeakers have been "killed"
CONS:
- Light color
- Not a huge deal since it's off-white, but I can see this toy getting dirty quickly since you know how clean us canines are. So far it hasn't been stained yet!
2) doggyLoot September 2013 Toy of the Month- Kong Round BraidZ Elephant
Current Price: $12.99
PROS:
- Braided body
- Cleans and polishes teeth
- Has a fun texture to hold onto
- Non-Toxic Material
- Minimal stuffing
- Made for light/moderate chewing\
- Perfect for me because I am gentle with my squeaking, but I can see it being a problem for big time chewers
Watch my video for the action play and extra chances to win the giveaway!

Overall, this is a great deal for canines who love a fun toy on a monthly basis. The toys I received both came from trusted big companies (Kyjen & Kong), which are both toys my sapiens would purchase from the stores. So far each toy has more than the paid value ($10.99 for a value of 12.49-$12.99 in the medium category), making it worthwhile...especially since they are delivered right to your door!

ReplyDeleteUgh...I had to run to K-Mart yesterday morning because our roasting tray wasn't big enough for our turkey! I felt bad going, but it was an emergency. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI was pretty surprised how many people were already Christmas shopping though - on Thanksgiving morning - at K-Mart?????
Thanks for hosting the giveaway! We definitely need large toys over here.
Honey is a large dog and she would love to win a new squeaky.

ReplyDeleteooh my sister in law's shibas need some chew action
ReplyDeleteooh my sister in laws shibas need some chew action on these
ReplyDeleteI have two pups... Nora & Petey. I would need size large for both of them.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, and I agree completely with the no shop Thanksgiving badge you have here. I have worked in retail as both a supervisor and a worker bee, and in both cases it stinks when you miss family/religious get-togethers. The only way to make these corporations listen is through money, so until people stop shopping on black Friday (which has forced itself upon Thanksgiving) they'll keep trying to turn the world into an economic formula. Stop sending your money to China! Buy local, sustainable products!
ReplyDeleteMy two biggest dogs are Patch and Calin and I would need medium to large toys for them. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGreat toys review Thanks! Hope you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. X Talent Hounds
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Thanksgiving to you! No shopping for us because we were at our cabin and there isn't really internet there...lol. The 3G was particularly bad this time around. :) Thanks for the great review. You have a nice giveaway going on. Best of luck to all who enter. :)
ReplyDeleteShiloh would be between Medium and large... I'd probably go for large.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't shop on Thursday either, for that EXACT reason. What sort of persons shops on a holiday?
ReplyDeleteMy dog is a Dobie mix named Froggie. She is the great destroyer of toys so she needs one that is large and indestructible. :)
ReplyDeleteCanine's name: Garth! Size of toy: BIG!
ReplyDeleteNice post..Wonderful collection and review of toys. I would like to wish have a great weekend and happy thanksgiving..Thanks for shortlist the product details and there prices.
ReplyDeleteCool toys, Boomer and Dottie would love to play with them and since they are large pups a large toy would be best for them!
ReplyDeleteOur two medium-sized dogs, Dot and Taco, nee large toys because they are super chewers!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have black Friday here so we just stay at home and work. For those who work for US companies, it's just great that this is a day-off (or better yet, double pay).
ReplyDeleteYou killed the the squeaking, now squeakerless, still squeaking toy!
What a fun giveaway!! We loved watching the video and seeing you play with the toys! We are both about 20 pounds! xo Chloe and LadyBug
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Jan
