Doesn't Ruckus look pleased? He actually had a good time, sharing in smoked duck, steamed brussel sprouts and asparagus, buns, mini crab cakes, chips and salsa, and even a meat lasagna! It wasn't a traditional American Thanksgiving meal, but it hit the spot!
As we mentioned previously, we picked up a number of Blue Buffalo™ food and treats at PetSmart. What really helped (as you can guess from reading through the list of food we had), was BLUE Wilderness® dental chews. I suppose in our variation, we had a Moscow Mule Dental Chew and Hot Green Tea Dental Chew beverages for Ruckus. All the sinewy tendons of smoke duck were no match for these nightly chews to cleanse his teeth.
As mom sips on her green tea and dad drinks his moscow mule, Ruckus waits patiently for his Blue Buffalo dental treats. Those are our favorite treats for Ruckus since they work as dual benefits.
- Satisfies our furry friend's crave for a delicious snack
- Provides continuation of dental care for our pup's pearly whites
So why not go all the way and hit two birds with one stones (note--no birds were harmed in the creation of this post--aside from the 2 ducks of course #doh)? By the way, who is couch-potato'ing with the Simpsons Marathon on FXX right now? We're on episode 481 of 600!
We humans don't get to chew these tasty litle morsels to clean our teeth. What's with that?
After Thanksgiving, we are looking forward to the Winter holidays and sharing more in food and family. Cozying by the fireplace might be necessary again, as it seems to be colder and colder. Luckily, we have our furry companion to also cuddle with and bask in the warmthness.
